Studio Herinner
A traveling studio
Until 2025 you will encounter Studio Remember throughout Brabant (and perhaps beyond). With Studio Remember we travel through the province to find out what ‘commemorating’ and ‘remembering’ means for Brabanders today and what it means for you. We are looking for your stories, thoughts, your opinions and the questions you have.
Are you or do you know someone with a special story or event? Are you curious about Studio Remember and the Brabant Remembert program? Or do you think the Studio should visit you or your club? Send an email to studio@brabantherinnert.nl.
Brabant: Bridge to Freedom
On the way to 80 years of freedom in Brabant
Until 2025 you will encounter Studio Remember throughout Brabant (and perhaps beyond). With Studio Remember we travel through the province to find out what ‘commemorating’ and ‘remembering’ means for Brabanders today and what it means for you. We are looking for your stories, thoughts, your opinions and the questions you have.
While the Brabant Remembers program with 75 years of freedom focused on imagining the stories, Brabant Remembers now places more emphasis on the connection in 2024-2025 with 80 years of freedom. We also look for a connection where it is not immediately available. We try to build bridges there. And with this project we literally do that. We let the bridges in Brabant, which lost their connecting power during the Second World War because they were blown up or otherwise inaccessible, be a stage.

Museums
Go out with your family and friends and discover our partner museums in North Brabant. Go back in time and discover the many inspiring stories about the Second World War that are still tangible and tangible.

Hiking trails
Walking in the footsteps of our liberators
The Liberation Route Brabant takes you past historical locations that played an important role in the final phase of the Second World War. The route is part of the European LRE Hiking Trail. The Brabant stage follows the Airborne Walking Path and tells the story of Operation Market Garden.

CYCLING ROUTES
The Liberation Route Brabant tells the story of the liberation, but also shows what the Second World War meant for ordinary Brabant residents. Eight cycling routes, spread across North Brabant, lead you past life-changing stories, listening columns of the Liberation Route Europe, monuments and museums, which together make visible the impact of the war on North Brabant.
