#1 Bergen op Zoom - One-day tour by bus

In September 1944, the British liberate Antwerp, but the German army digs in around the Scheldt River. See and learn how the Canadians fought hard to open the waterway to Antwerp.

#2 City walk 's-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven - 2 to 3 hours

On this city walk, experience what life was like during the occupation, and how the city was liberated. Supported by photographic material and still-visible traces, you get a unique insight into the 1940-1945 period.

#3 Biesbosch line crossers - 3-hour boat tour

During World War II, this maze of rivers, creeks and islets was used to illegally transfer people and materials between liberated and occupied territory. The tour takes you on a unique boat ride and tells the stories of the dangerous cat and mouse game the Dutch resistance played with the Germans.

#4 Operation Market Garden - One-day tour by bus

The largest airborne operation in history, a daring plan and a desperate fight to keep the road to Arnhem clear. Market Garden is best known for the Battle of Arnhem, but many of the events of Market Garden took place in Brabant. This tour takes you to the places in Brabant where the fate of Market Garden was sealed.

#5 The Battle of Overloon - One-day tour by bus

After Operation Market Garden, the Germans still had a large bridgehead west of the Meuse River which was threatened. Between Sept. 30 and Oct. 16, first American and then British units fought to drive out the Germans in what came to be called the Battle of Overloon. Discover where in the fall of 1944 Americans and British fought to drive out the Germans west of the Meuse River.
