The Brabant Remembers app requests access to your location and camera. It also asks for an e-mail address when creating a passport. Your personal data will be stored on the app developer’s server and will not be distributed further. As long as you have an account, this data will remain on the server. You can delete your account by sending an e-mail to info@dutchrosemedia.com. Your data will then be removed from the server within one week.

The app needs access to your camera, location and gallery for several reasons. Because this app allows you to view the experiences only at the respective locations, the app needs access to your location. This way, the app knows if you are at one of the experience points. You will also see a blue dot appear on the map indicating your location. This app contains experiences that use augmented reality. These are videos that appear in your camera view. To take advantage of augmented reality, the app needs access to the camera. In the augmented reality experiences, you have the opportunity to take pictures with the characters. To save this photo, the app requests access to your gallery.

If you go to see any of the stories you will earn points in your passport. With this, we ensure that you do not have to download the score over and over again. We link your passport to the email address provided so we can keep score. Hence, we ask for a mailing address.
